Michael R. Parrinello, CPA CVADirector

Michael is a Principal in the Commercial Division of The Bonadio Group and a member of the Firm’s Private Equity Team. As a member of the Firm’s Private Equity team, he provides support and advisory services to the Firm’s clients in accessing capital and M&A activities, as well as accounting and consulting services to capital providers and their portfolio companies. His background includes conducting traditional financial statement assurance engagements and providing a wide-range of transaction advisory services for both public and private companies.

Michael serves a variety of clients in the high-tech, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services industries. He specializes in technical accounting services; merger and acquisition consulting services; valuation engagements; and internal control attest services. Many of Michael’s non-traditional engagements involve matters relating to analysis of business plans, valuation and capital formation strategies.

Michael received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Rochester in 1999 and received a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester in 2004. Previous to joining The Bonadio Group Michael worked at Strong Memorial Hospital for five years holding various positions relating to operations and analysis. In addition to his credentials as a Certified Public Accountant, Michael has earned the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Rochester Legal Aid Society.
