Jeff Valentine is a serial entrepreneur and advocate for Greater Rochester. He is President of Valentinium, an investment and management consulting firm specializing in early stage investments and private equity opportunities, and an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Excell Partners, a New York State-supported venture capital seed fund. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Product Marketing of M5 Networks, the largest provider of hosted VoIP for business, and one of the senior members of the team that sold M5 to ShoreTel in 2012.

Prior to M5, Jeff was the CEO of Callfinity, which he co-founded in Boston, moved to Rochester, and grew by more than 500% before being acquired by M5 in 2011. He was also the upstate New York finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and a finalist for Rochester's 2009 Small Business Person of the Year award. Jeff is a member of the board of directors of InfoPreserve, a member of the due diligence committee for the Rochester Angel Fund, and a contributor to the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council. He also serves on several non-profit boards including The Strong, Geva Theatre Center, Rochester's Workforce Investment Board, and Pariemus, an organization he co-founded for Rochester's entrepreneurs and CEOs.

Jeff is a cum laude graduate of Cornell University in Materials Science and Engineering with a concentration in Polymer Chemistry, and lives in Fairport, New York with his wife and two daughters.

JPMorgan grant to create jobs program
